Welcome to Montana Cowboy and Rustic
Happy November!
The meaning of November comes from the Latin word novem meaning eight. The old Roman calendar started in March, so November was the ninth month. When the Roman senate changed the calendar in 153 BCE, the new year started in January, and November became the eleventh month.
Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 24th
It is a national holiday celebrated on various dates in the United States, Canada, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Liberia.
It began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Similarly named festival holidays occur in Germany and Japan.
The centerpiece of most Thanksgiving celebrations is the Thanksgiving dinner.
Turkey, usually roasted and stuffed (but sometimes deep-fried instead), is typically the featured item on most Thanksgiving feast tables.
Mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, sweet corn, various fall vegetables, squash, Brussels sprouts and pumpkin pie are among the side dishes commonly associated with Thanksgiving dinner.
All these are actually native to the Americas or were introduced as a new food source to the Europeans when they arrived.

Decor and Gifts for all Cattle Ranchers, Cowboys, and Horse Lovers.
Cowboys are the working class of the cattle industry.
In the past, for a dollar a day and board and room where it existed, a young man worked long hours- occasionally risking life and limb- to tend the cattle of another.
The job was seasonal, but if he proved his worth and won a place in the outfit, he lived a way of life that in the popular imagination has become synonymous with freedom and rugged individualism.
True rustic homes are constructed of natural materials, including logs, native stone, timbers, and shingles.
The building forms respond to their sites and landscaping are an integral part of the design.
Often the furniture design is based on local wildlife.
Montana and the mountain west offer the perfect marriage of the cowboy lifestyle in a rustic setting.
Here, You'll find some ways to include these styles in personal accessories and your home decor.

Horse hair jewelry is stylish as well as environmentally friendly. All of the horse hair suppliers that I read about use tail hair from live animals-not the whole tail, obviously, but trimmings. It is cultivated like sheep's wool or llama hair. As an example, many horse farms in England traditionally trim the horse tails for showing purposes. Horse hair is the long, coarse hair growing on the manes and tails of horses. The longer tail hair is mostly used for belts and necklaces, while the shorter, finer mane hair is used for bracelets and other jewelry. These are great Western-styled bracelets that are nicely done, elegant, yet very rugged. You can wear these beautiful bracelets anywhere and not worry. This bracelet is 1/2" wide and just slides to adjust to a very small size (about 4" around) to a very large size (about 9 1/2" around). They are all hand-made and no two are exactly alike.
Do you have big hands?
Guys love the three-strand horse hair bracelets, but can't get them over the knuckles.

Agates are classically associated with volcanic rocks. There are many types of agate. These wind chimes are made of Brazilian agate. Brazilian agate is found as sizable geodes of layered nodules. These occur in brownish tones, interlayered with white and gray. Quartz forms within these nodules. It is said that agate possesses many mystical powers. One of these powers is the ability to permit the user to distinguish between honest and false friends. In Southern and Eastern Asia, wind chimes are also known as wind bells.

A Western Cowboy is an animal herder who tends cattle on ranches in North America, traditionally on horseback. The Cattleman and often performs a multitude of other ranch-related tasks[117]. In Australia, most ranchers are in the Outback. The Outback is the vast, remote interior of Australia. The largest industry across the Outback in terms of the area occupied is sheep and cattle grazing.
Rustic describes a design that's natural, rough, aged, and casual[111].
